How Echoed Pairs Work Before each game begins, a player may reveal two different cards they drafted that are part of an Echoed Pair. Those cards start the game in exile. The player may cast one of those cards during the game as though it were in their hand; when they do, they may shuffle the other into their library. Players begin each game with only a single Echoed Pair in exile. Important rule notes: Each Reality Fracture Play Booster contains three Echoed Pair bonus sheet cards: two that form a true pair and one unpaired legendary. Players who draft the unpaired card from a pack may still acquire its match through other packs during the draft, forming a valid pair. Players are not required to draft an Echoed Pair; they may pass both cards of a pair from a pack if they prefer two other cards instead, or if they're simply holding out for a better pair later.
